The Hollow Tooth

The Hollow Tooth (tower) is the only remain of one of the fortress gates of the old castle on the Bock rock. During the demolition works in 1871, the tower was only half destroyed. So the authorities decided to 'mend' what was left and transformed it to look like the ruins of a medieval castle.
There is actually not that much to see of the ruins themselves anymore. But what is especially impressive is the worthwhile seeing panoramic view of Luxembourg City with the Alzette River valley below.
